Academic Interests

Dr. Huang's research focuses on translational bioinformatics, oncogenomics, pharmacogenomica and personalized medicine. The ability of genome-wide measure confers microarray a promising role in predicting the clinical outcome. However, the application in individual patients is largely limited by the fact that microarray technology only measures relative expression levels between two or more samples. One of Dr. Huang’s efforts is to develop novel algorithm and bioinformatic tools to sort molecular signature from single array to predict therapeutic response, relapse and survival of patients.
