Academic Interests

Dr. Cifu’s academic interests are primarily in the field of medical education. He is currently co-director of the 3rd year medical clerkship and is most interested in the clinical training for 3rd and 4th year medical students. He is also active in training students and residents in evidence-based medicine.

Clinical Interests

Management of chronic diseases in adults such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
